SGA Elections

The Student Government Association (SGA) is open to all full-time Newbury College students. All members of the elected leadership must:

  • Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 2.0
  • Uphold the standards of the Newbury College Community Standards of Conduct
  • Fulfill the obligations of his/her elected position
  • Attend all bi-weekly SGA meetings and assigned committee meetings
  • Attend all SGA related retreats and special meetings

Friday, September 2
Election Intent forms are available

Monday, September 12
Election Intent forms are due to the SGA Office, SC105 by 5:00pm.

Thursday, September 15
8:00am-8:00pm: Student Election Day
See your Newbury email for your class specific ballot.

Friday, September 16
Election results verified and communicated campus wide.

Tuesday, September 20
First SGA Assembly Meeting of 2016-2017 Academic Year

Each class will be represented on senate with 1 executive senator and 2 class senators. The following positions are open:
