Literacy (i.e., what it is, why it is important), ACRL's "gateway"
provides college and university faculty with Information Literacy
standards as well as implementation and assessment tools that
can be used to gauge and improve student learning.

"An electronic community dedicated to the improvement and
advancement of educational instruction and practice." Educators
are invited to "Look," "Reflect," "Explore," "Build," "Connect,"
and "Learn," via case studies, the applied research of Project
Zero at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a self-assessment
tool, and a number of online forums.

The University of Maryland University College's assessment
website for administrators, faculty, and students. In addition
to information on why assessment is important, general and
discipline-specific assessment tools as well as discussion

A product development website, geared toward children, but,
nevertheless, with a wealth of information on pedagogy. Of

An avant-garde website designed to help individuals and institutions
learn "better, faster, smarter" by applying the latest information
on learning theory. In addition to general information on
pedagogy, links to articles and websites are provided.
National Center for the Study of Adult Learning and Literacy (http://www.ncsall.net/)
"A federally funded research and development center focused
solely on adult learning." Links to published reports and
studies, information about on-going research projects, and
materials for teaching students and training teachers are
provided.
