Encyclopædia Britannica Online contains articles
with links to other relevant materials, websites, journals,
photographs, and audio and video files. Also included
are country comparisons, a world atlas, notable quotations,

and "Gateway to the Classics" (an introduction to

Expanded Academic ASAP contains articles on a wide
range of topics, including social sciences, humanities,

The Gale Virtual Reference Library contains reference
books in business (including the International Directory
of Company Histories), fashion, literature, medicine,
multicultural America, film, the Renaissance, popular culture,

audio files and transcripts of National Public
Radio programs, and podcasts from government agencies

netLibrary is a collection of full-text e-books in a wide range of
subject areas. Users can sign out and read books online, and can search
for relevant sections within each book by entering key terms or browsing the
table of contents. Printing is restricted to one page at a time. (Printing the
entire content of a book violates copyright laws.) N.B.: Users must register
for a netLibrary account at the Newbury College Library; thereafter, the database
can be accessed off-campus.
Power Search enables searching from ten Gale databases
at once. Users may select from any combination of General
OneFile, Expanded Academic ASAP, Health Reference Center,
General Business File, General Reference Center Gold, Gale
Virtual Reference Library, Academic OneFile, Massachusetts

The Qikan
Library provides over 100 full-text popular magazine publications
from mainland China. Subjects include the arts, current events,
business, health, children's literature and more. Most titles
are viewable in both simplified and classical viewing styles.

ART
ARTstor contains images of works of art, covering a wide range
of cultures and time periods. Images include architecture, painting, sculpture,
photography, decorative arts, design, and many other forms of visual and
material culture.
The Biography Resource Center contains information
about the life and work of individuals from a wide range of
professions. It includes excerpts from reference books,
thumbnail biographies, magazine and newspaper articles,

Business Knowledge Research contains in-depth,
strategy-focused research reports and articles on business-related
topics. It includes a forecasting newsletter covering
world markets, interest rates, and the global economy, U.S.
