Coach
This is the second year for Jonathan Boyle as head coach of the Newbury College
Men’s Golf Program. Boyle took over as head coach after serving as assistant coach
in 2005. His relationship with Newbury College goes back to 1995, at which time
Boyle was assistant coach for the men’s basketball team. During this time, the
Nighthawks ranked among the top teams in the region and finished the 1996 season
ranked number 3 in the country for Division III junior colleges with an appearance
at the National Final Four.
Boyle’s golf career flourished while attending the University of Massachusetts
and has continued to grow. He is a regular in the Massachusetts Golf Association
Championship tournaments and has steadily improved the Newbury College golf program
during his short tenure.
