Time Management Tips

Some hints to help you manage your time more effectively:
  • Aim for efficiency. Try to get as much work done in as short a period of time.
  • Try to study the most difficult or least interesting material first so you pay more attention to it.
  • Use a regular study area such as an empty classroom or the library.
  • Try to use odd periods of time to review material (i.e. by using note-cards) such as on your way to class, on the bus, or in the cafeteria.
  • Make a concerted effort to go over material on the day of class, so you will remember more of the material. You may have to move some things around such as studying for an exam if other situations arise.
  • Consider your study schedule firm but flexible. It is not carved in stone!

Design your own time management schedule.
