Some helpful hints for your learning style

Visual

  • Draw charts/maps/diagrams.
  • Create flashcards. (On the front side have the word. On the back have a definition and an example.)
  • Make lists.
  • Use highlighting.

Auditory

  • Use a tape recorder for the class to fill in what you missed while going over your notes.
  • Get a "Study Buddy/Group" to go over the material.
  • Read your notes aloud to yourself.
  • Put your summarized notes on a tape recorder.

Kinesthetic

  • Use flashcards. (On the front side have the word. On the back have the definition and an example.)
  • Rewrite your notes.
  • Create a map (this can also be done by using post-it notes).
  • Design your own sample quizzes/tests.
  • Teach the material to someone else in the class.
