Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science prepares students for professional careers in business, public service, and not-for-profit organizations that rely on computer technology. The program provides a comprehensive background in the use of computers for problem solving. Students will develop an appreciation of the various aspects of computer technology applications, and are expected to develop programming and system analysis skills. Students also have the opportunity to explore the personal and social costs and benefits of computer technology to modern society. Open course electives enable students to focus on a specialized area of computer science or to minor in a complementary field. An internship allows students to gain experience in a professional work environment.

Note that all full-time day students are required to take FY100 First Year Seminar during their first semester.
