IY490 Proposal (3 credits)

Under the direction of the project advisor, the student will conduct research in multiple subject areas and formulate a research proposal that requires the integration and synthesis of knowledge from the academic disciplines in the student’s chosen program of study. PR: Senior status, Interdisciplinary Studies major.

IY 495 Development and Presentation (3 credits)

Under the direction of the project advisor, the student will employ a variety of perspectives and methodologies to develop the proposed project in a manner that demonstrates the effectiveness of an interdisciplinary approach and will present the project to a committee of faculty members. PR: IN490 Capstone Proposal.
