Cooking Demo at Newbury College with Chef Paul Turano of Tryst Restaurant/Arlington

Tuesday/January 17
6-9 p.m.

Join Executive Chef/Owner Paul Turano of Tryst Restaurant/Arlington for a fun and informative evening with Paul who is a graduate of Newbury College. He will prepare some of his contemporary American Cuisine signature dishes with Newbury's Chef Madonna Berry.

Valentine's Day: Assorted Sweets

Sunday/February 12
1pm-4pm

Join Newbury's Chef Joyce Krystofolski and Proprietor of Delicious Endeavors/West Wareham to learn how to prepare mouth watering assorted sweets for that special someone.

Join Chef Kevin Planchon as he prepares some signature dishes such as Steak Frites, an appetizer and side dishes from one of the area’s top restaurants.

Join Corporate Executive Chef of The Colonnade Hotel and Brasserie Jo, Nicholas Calais, as he demos some of his top hotel's signature dishes from Brasserie Joe Restaurant.  He will prepare coq au vin & skate wing with braised red cabbage and mustard veloute.

Walking Tour of Chinatown with Chef Madonna Berry

Sunday, April 15
11am to 3pm

Join Chef Madonna Berry, Assistant Professor at Newbury College, on a culinary walking tour of Boston's Chinatown. We will visit markets, bakeries and a Chinese herbal store.  Discover exotic fruits and vegetables; teas; spices; live poultry and fresh fish; meats; pastries; confections; and Chinese cooking utensils.  The tour begins with dim sum at Emperor's Garden Restaurant.  Limited enrollment.
